On behalf of all who read this God's Eagle Nest Web Site, I sent a birtday greeting to Mr. Graham. "THEY" say, I surmise Doctors, who also say tall people don't live as long as shorter people, ( I was 6'5" Tall, 240 lbs. Age has reduced that total to 6'4", 190,) that we all will be living a longer life. - I, at 76 January 25, 2009, when compared to Mr. Grahams age 90, am a real "Youngster." I look at it this way;
When God decides there is something more he wants US to do, we will live longer, sort of "silly"as one of our Presidential Candidates is fond of saying, it is notheless true.
Strange; I knew my Wife SEVEN combined days prior to being married. I say combined as I was so tired from training at CampPendleton to GET TO Korea for the war, I slept on her couch, (it was a 240 mile round trip(.. The hours in a three week period counted up to seven days. FOR THOSE LOOKING FOR A CHINK IN THIS OLD MARINES ARMOR, our first child was born 2 years after marriage, NOT inclusive of the 9 month gestation period. I married into a wealthy Italian family where "hanky panky" was NOT allowed. (not that I didn't try,...)
Must have been O.K. with God as on March 30, 2009, WE WILL HAVE BEEN MARRIED, WITHOUT ANY "DISTRUBANCE," FOR 57 YEARS.
God works in mysterious was his wonders to perform! A grumpy old Gunnery Sergeant in the MARINE corps? Wonders NEVER cease! My WIFE should get the highest Civilian Medal just for living with me...., and as of a few months, 57 years.
