As usual, Thanksgiving is NOT for "Giving Thanks to God" as it started out to be with the Pilgrins and the Indians, (sorta shaky start at that...) It is NOW, with the economy in such poor shape, "Black Friday" we wait for, to see how, as in the past, the biggest shopping day of the year keeps the country not in the RED but in the Black through merchandise being bought?? God help us!

The Economy...(What economy??) - For the first time since 1929, GREEEED has taken over from our caring GOD! Used to be that it was said "you can't see the forrest due to the TREES," - NOW - it is " you can't see the economy because of the Bushes." Trees, Bushes, makes NO difference! - We walked right into this one! I would LOVE to say the new "group" in Washington could do a quick fix. We have already been told this economy is SOOOO bad it will take eons to get it back where FDR put it. Give the glory to God, as it WILL get better quicker, "gut feeling."

YET! - The USA is still charitable. Go to the Special Topics page and see the BEGINNING of a LEGITIMATE cause. A pastor with 22 students and some adults, struggling to get Bibles, clothing and food. TROUBLE IS; they are located in India, emails can get there quick, but bibles, clothes and the like weigh and cost a LOT to ship! A postage stamp with 5$ in an envelope gets there by "Snail Mail," but it does get there!
