Why and Where?

"We" are all, virtually, in the "SAME BOAT." From the looks of the threatening dark clouds on the right, THIS BOAT, OR TRIP, is going to be a bit rough!

BUT

For the REST OF US WHO TRUST, the

trip looks like it is clearing up, might

even be pleasant!

TRUST - OUR THEME, WHY?, WHERE?

AND... HOW,? ALL are seen and assumed by these weather pictures, especially in a Frigate, rigged with a full sail. (Sorry Navy, I know it should be a ship, and Frigate? - I just don't know, my apologies!)

ACTUALLY, we do NOT know much about what is going to happen as the dark clouds COULD turn light, and the BLUE, white clouded sky

could turn DARK! - When you are out in the middle of a big Ocean, as were many of our earliest Sailors, you have little idea how the weather is going to change as having been in The Pacific, on a Large Liberty Ship on my way with several thousand other men to Korea in 1951, WE WENT THROUGH THREE MONSOONS.

The SAME is true of the lives we lead here on the Earth God made! GUSTAV, a catagory (4) HURRICANE JUST 5 mph from being a catagory (5) storm WILL do some heavy damage along the Gulf Coast, to include ALREADY BATTERED New Orleans.

Yes, we have the Techinical and Human tools to FORECAST this potential tradgedy, BUT as of NOW...We do not have the tools to STOP it and OTHER storms from ruining or taking lives! OH, WE WILL HAVE THOSE TOOLS SOMEDAY, but NOW,?

Not hardly. Board up, sandbag, re-inforce the levies, - PRAY AND PRAY SOME MORE.

The same is true of Californians like me and other states that don't have Hurricanes. TORNADOES, a different story, EARTHQAKES the same, plus other

"Natural disasters.

ANSWER? - There is none I am afraid. As a CHRISTIAN I can already hear the questions, "Why does GOD ALLOW these things to happen?" Job was a "well off" man yet when satan asked God for permission to test Job's faith, all God said was "go ahead, BUT, do him no harm!" Job passed satan's tests of Faith, and his fortune was restored from God, PLUS. I doubt God will restore ALL lost from storm Gustav. HE DID give many new lives as the result of Katrina, another Hurricane, same force.

God knows the BIG picture, WE DON'T - The Picture of the cross proves his point!
